MONROE TOWNSHIP, N.J., Nov. 6, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The Educational Services Commission of NJ (ESCNJ) has contracted Insurance Restoration Specialists, Inc. (IRS) to provide disaster recovery and remediation services to its over 1,100 member organizations. The ESCNJ Cooperative System, the largest co-op pricing system in the state, serves school districts, colleges, universities, housing authorities, libraries, fire districts and other county and state government agencies throughout New Jersey. Its goal is to save taxpayer funds by developing bid specifications, administering bid processing, vetting vendor qualifications, and negotiating discounted prices on behalf of its membership.
To be awarded the contract, Monroe-Township-based Insurance Restoration Specialists, Inc. met a rigorous set of ESCNJ requirements for its Disaster Recovery Services provider:
- 24/7 response to damage from fire, explosion, smoke, water, mold, fungus, chemical contamination, natural disasters, wind, storm, and flood
- Certifications for fire restoration, water mitigation, and mold remediation and compliance with US EPA Mold Remediation in Schools and Commercial Buildings
- Ability to provide services throughout New Jersey
- Providing significant value to ESCNJ members
IRS is a unique restoration contractor in New Jersey that provides water, fire and storm damage restoration services and is also qualified to provide bio-hazard cleanup and decontamination, infection control services, environmental HAZMAT remediation, HVAC cleaning and reconstruction services. Collectively IRS and its staff members hold 26 certifications and designations from government and professional organizations. Most notable among these are Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Certified Environmental Infection Control Remediator (CEICR), and IICRC Master Water Restorer.
