The Gift That Keeps On Saving Lives: The T3 Tactical Auto Rescue Tool
Perfect For All Outdoor and Survival Needs
NEW YORK, Aug. 21, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- There are gifts you want, and there are gifts you need, but there aren't many that can literally save a life. The T3 Tactical Auto Rescue Tool is one that can. Designed by a paramedic, the T3 is 6.4 ounces of matte black get-down-to-business. Whether you're a first responder who needs to get into a vehicle or a victim who needs to get out, the T3 is the best friend you could hope for. After an accident, when car doors and windows are jammed, the spring-loaded window punch makes short work of safety glass. The steel hook blade cuts through seat belts like butter. The built-in LED-light is there at your fingertips when seeing is critical to getting the job done. And the 440C half-serrated steel blade is perfect for any other cutting needs. When it's not working, the T3 rides comfortably in its own belt sheath or fastens directly to your belt with a tough spring-steel clip.

Created by a New York City paramedic, the T3 is built for the working first responder. All of its tools are made to be deployed one-handed. The T3's blades are made from 440C stainless steel, which is known for its excellent wear and its ability to keep a sharp edge.
"I was at the scene of an accident where the first responders had to return to their vehicle for tools to break a window and get victims out of a car," says Avi Goldstein, president of StatGear. "In situations where seconds count, I realized how important it would be to have a purpose-designed, all-in-one rescue tool you could always have on your person." Goldstein set out to design that tool, and the result is the T3.
While the tool was designed for use by first responders, Goldstein also considered the needs of self-rescue. "There are emergency hammers designed to break out a window, but inside a car after an accident there's no room to swing a hammer. The T3's spring-driven window punch works by simply being pressed against the window. The same is true for the hook blade, which can cut through seatbelt webbing in tight spaces with one pull."
The T3 was well received by first responders but is moving into the mainstream market as well. "It's the ideal multi-purpose tool for the outdoors, for natural disasters or, of course, in case of an accident," says Goldstein. "We've sold thousands to people buying for themselves or buying several for their family members."
The T3 Tactical Auto Rescue Tool is available for $39.99 on the web at http://www.statgeartools.com.
