The Gordian Group Wins New Contracts from BuyBoard of Texas

MAULDIN, S.C., June 15 /PRNewswire/ -- The BuyBoard of Texas, a purchasing cooperative, awarded a series of Job Order Contracts to The Gordian Group, Inc, the leaders in Job Order Contracting (JOC) products, services and solutions. Using EZIQC®, the company's specialized version of JOC, BuyBoard members now have access to competitively bid, high quality construction services.

Administered and endorsed by the Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) the BuyBoard is a Local Purchasing Cooperative designed to help members' purchasing power and to simplify the purchasing process using a customized electronic system. It also helps members comply with state bidding requirements and to identify qualified vendors of commodities, goods and services. The cooperative is endorsed by the Texas Municipal League, Texas Association of Counties, and Texas Association of School Administrators.

While Job Order Contracting services have long been available in Texas through the BuyBoard, this is the first time The Gordian Group, founded by the inventor of JOC, Harry Mellon, has been awarded a contract by the BuyBoard.
