The Great Big Bacon Picnic Comes To Williamsburg, Brooklyn Saturday, May 16 & Sunday, May 17, 2015
BROOKLYN, N.Y., March 4, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Brooklyn's first bacon festival, The Great Big Bacon Picnic is coming to The Old Pfizer Factory in Williamsburg, Brooklyn on Saturday, May 16, 2015 and Sunday, May 17, 2015. The weekend long event created by Great Big Food Events LLC, is an indoor/outdoor gourmet celebration of the most amazing food item ever created – bacon!
Festival Co-Founders and Brothers Craig and Lon Taylor, along with over 100 chefs, restaurants, food trucks, brew masters, mixologists, and culinary experts from all over NYC will be in attendance. Brooklyn's own High & Mighty Brass Band, who played both Bonnaroo and The Governors Ball in 2014, will be on-hand adding their New Orleans/NYC party jams to the celebration.
The event will feature three different sessions of inspired bite-sized bacon dishes and the best in craft beers and specialty cocktails, giving bacon lovers a truly unique culinary experience.
Session dates/times include:
- Saturday Afternoon 12:00pm – 2:30pm with VIP access from 11:00am
- Saturday Night 6:30pm – 9:00pm with VIP access from 5:30pm
- Sunday Afternoon 12:00pm – 2:30pm with VIP access from 11:00am

Also partnering in the event will be respected New York area Chef, Food Activist, & Educator, Bryan Futerman, of renowned Hampton's hot spot Nick & Toni's along with his brothers Jarid and Keith Futerman, all 25 year veterans of food service, catering, and mobile kitchens solutions.
