The Grow-Off Receives Over 30 Pre-registration Commitments In Two Weeks Since Announcement

(OTC Pinks: PZOO) is pleased to announce that, pursuant to a Letter of Intent, its Colorado licensee, Harris Lee Colorado, LLC, the management company of Steep Hill Colorado, is supplying the qualitative cannabis testing and analysis for the revolutionary, Colorado-based cannabis grow competition, The Grow-Off.  Since its announcement on April 20, 2016, The Grow Off has received thirty commitments from growers to participate and the organizers expect more than 100 registrations before the competition begins.

Jake Browne and Sohum J Shah, cannabis critics for The Denver Post's The Cannabist, announced the launch of The Grow-Off. Browne and Shah's revolutionary new grow competition is based on qualitative analysis thanks to their laboratory partner, Steep Hill Colorado.

"In just two weeks since we announced The Grow-Off, the interest in the competition has been astounding," Browne said. "Once registration officially opens later this month, we expect to have at least 100 cultivators registered to compete."

Unlike other competitions, the inaugural Grow-Off is limited to MED-licensed Retail Marijuana Cultivation Facilities in Colorado and will be fully compliant with state laws and regulations.  In order to control variables and truly compare the skill of different cultivators, all entrants will be required to cultivate genetically-identical clones from the same "mother" plant. The resulting harvests will be judged and ranked based on a proprietary algorithm that accounts for a number of qualitative factors.

For logistic reasons, the clone-giveaway has been delayed.

"In order to ensure that we have enough clones to accommodate all participants, we are delaying the transfer of clones to Retail Cultivation Facilities until the summer," added Shah, who is also the CEO of the Cannabis Commodities Exchange, a wholesale cannabis service and the event's logistics partner. "We are working closely with DarkHorse Genetics to ensure that we are completely prepared for the logistical and compliance requirements of the competition."

The event organizers began accepting pre-registration entries on April 20, 2016. Full registration will open to cultivators in late May, and competition participants can expect to select their clones mid-Summer 2016. The competition is currently accepting sponsorships from.
