The Houston Independent School District Enriches the Student Experience with the Installation of the Océ VarioPrint i300

This latest inkjet investment by HISD illustrates a commitment to embracing new print technologies to help meet its goal of more efficiently producing a larger number of small-run print jobs of teaching and learning materials designated for the classroom.

The Houston Independent School District is the largest school district in Texas and the seventh-largest in the United States. It serves approximately 215,000 students at 283 campuses and is one of the largest employers in Houston, with about 29,000 team members. Over the last three years, HISD has turned much of its focus to the permanence of print in the educational environment.
