The IPA Reaffirms its Code of Conduct
ELLICOTT CITY, Md., Nov. 17, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The Investment Program Association (IPA) exists to promote the highest professional standards for the Direct Investment industry and its members. As a precursor to membership, each of the IPA's 159 corporate members has agreed to abide by an IPA Code of Conduct, which promotes a culture of fairness, honesty and transparency within the Association – and more broadly, the financial services community. This Code expresses the ethical and professional ideals members are expected to display in their professional activities.
The IPA condemns any and all practices contrary to the Code of Conduct. Fraudulent conduct recently alleged by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts against an IPA member firm, if proven true, runs counter to the values of the IPA and its members and violates the IPA's Code of Conduct.
The IPA and its members are the leading voices of the Direct Investment industry. We believe in honesty, integrity and the protection of every investor. These are the values we share, and they will endure past any singular event by a single company. The members of the IPA stand together in our ongoing efforts to demonstrate the strength and quality of Direct Investment products generally.
