The Jewish Council for the Aging presents The 50+ Employment Expo

ROCKVILLE, Md., May 4, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The 50+ Employment Expo, an award-winning program of the Jewish Council for the Aging, is made possible by a grant from Montgomery County Health & Human Services. The Expo will take place on Monday, May 21, 2012, from 10 a.m. -- 3 p.m., at the Marriott Bethesda North Hotel and Conference Center, 5701 Marinelli Road, Bethesda, Maryland.

Admission is free to all job seekers and employers. Job seekers do not have to pre-register. All employers, however, need to register for a table. There will be ample free parking by the Conference Center entrance. The Expo is easily accessible via the Metro's White Flint Station.

The event is open to all people age 50+ who are looking for full time, part time or seasonal employment. There will be recruiters from scores of employers, including non-profits, government, healthcare, retail, technology and more at the Expo. The daylong event will include seminars, continuing education information, resume reviewing , and an internet cafe for online registration and job search, all for free.

Micki Gordon, Assistant CEO, will introduce Keynote Speaker Pat Collins. Mr. Collins, a General Assignment Reporter for News4 -- WRC TV, will speak from 11:30 a.m. -- 12:30 p.m. in Ballroom C.
