The Jones Group Promotes Aida Tejero-DeColli Chief People Officer

NEW YORK, Dec. 12, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The Jones Group Inc. ("Jones," the "Company") (NYSE: JNY) today announced the promotion of Aida Tejero-DeColli to the newly created position of Chief People Officer, effective immediately.  In this elevated role, Aida will continue to lead all efforts supporting Human Resources activities at Jones including, talent acquisition and management, training and development, and associate compensation, benefit and recognition programs. She will continue to report to Wesley R. Card, Chief Executive Officer of The Jones Group.
