The latest in this XCOR Space Expedition collection is the 45.50mm Pilot Professional Analog Digital (5241.XS). Housed in brushed titanium, this new timepiece is perfect for space - light enough to not be a concern during takeoff and landing, and rugged enough to withstand the stresses of space travel.
The Analog display of the Pilot Professional gives pilots time at a glance and the digital windows offer the precision they require. In addition, the new Pilot Professional offers a second time zone/GMT function, necessary for aviation and space flight, as all timing is done based on UTC/GMT

In 2015, XCOR Aerospace, the manufacturer of the XCOR Lynx spaceship, will be carrying out their first test flights within the atmosphere. Training sessions and tests for passenger flights are currently under way. For $100,000 passengers will be able to enjoy a unique view of the earth from 103 kilometers.
