The Law Firm of Dussault and Zatir Settles a Slip and Fall Accident Claim for $7,500.00

NEW BEDFORD, Mass., Oct. 20, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- (http://www.myprgenie.com) -- Dussault and Zatir Law firm client slipped and fell on a wet floor of a supermarket. At the time of the accident it was raining and water was being tracked in by other patrons of the supermarket. The supermarket did not post any warnings and failed to mop the water in a reasonable amount of time. The client sustained a knee strain and an ankle sprain and the client was on crutches for nearly four (4) weeks. The client underwent a short course of physical therapy and ultimately made a full recovery. 

The insurer acknowledged that the supermarket failed to warn and/or take reasonable steps to remedy the slippery conditions. The insurer agreed to settle this claim in the amount of $7,500.00 and the client was pleased with the settlement offer.
