WASHINGTON, Jan. 4, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Experienced GOP Lobbyist Bill Jarrell has joined The Madison Group as a partner. "Bill brings a wealth of legislative knowledge and Hill connections to our clients. Prior to joining The Madison Group Bill Jarrell founded the government affairs business at Washington Strategies. He also worked four years as a lobbyist at what was Preston Gates, where he focused on natural resources, taxes, transportation, telecom and technology issues. Previously, Jarrell worked for several prominent Republican members of Congress and at the U.S. Department of the Interior during the first Bush Administration. A veteran Republican Party activist, he has also managed and directed numerous political campaigns.
While on Capitol Hill, Jarrell served as Deputy Chief of Staff, Administrative Assistant to The House Majority Whip. In addition, he served as Chief of Staff to Representative James Saxton (R-NJ) and as Communications Director to Senator Steve Symms (R-ID); and as Press Aide to Representative Mickey Edwards (R-OK).
