The Melting Pot Seeks New Owner for Newport News, Va., Restaurant

The brand is seeking qualified owner-operator candidates who are interested in owning their very own Melting Pot restaurant. Currently, The Melting Pot has six additional restaurants throughout Virginia.

The Melting Pot in Newport News is located in the Jefferson Green Shopping Center at 12233 Jefferson Ave, Suite 3 and opened in July 2006. The unit closed as of June 29 for compliance reasons related to its franchise agreement. Entrepreneurs with business backgrounds and/or operators with restaurant experience who are passionate about the brand and interested in business ownership can apply for the opportunity to re-open the restaurant. Candidates must receive approval from the franchisor and the restaurant's landlord and will be required to purchase the assets in the restaurant.
