The Michigan Corporate Challenge MC2 adds McLaren of Greater Lansing Healthcare Foundation to Charity Recipients
EAST LANSING, Mich., Jan. 7, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The 2013 Winter Games of the Michigan Corporate Challenge MC2 will run February 10-13 with the Friends of Ingham County Parks, McLaren of Greater Lansing Healthcare Foundation, and the YMCA as the charitable recipients. A key component of the Michigan Corporate Challenge MC2 is to continually increase charitable giving. Over $4,000 was donated during the October, 2012 Inaugural Games.
The Michigan Corporate Challenge MC2 is a professionally organized series of events designed to promote health and wellness, team building and friendly competition among employees of participating companies. Over 20 events are scheduled for the 2013 Winter Games including cardboard sled building and racing, snow tube relay, snow sculpture building, rock wall climbing, volleyball and 3 on 3 basketball.
It is expected more than 500 employees will participate in the 4-day event which will also attract hundreds of spectators including families, volunteers and staff. According to one participant from the 2012 Inaugural Games, "it was an amazing way to pull people together and get in a good workout."
