WASHINGTON, April 24, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) is an independent U.S. Government foreign aid agency that is helping lead the fight against global poverty through the promotion of sustainable economic growth.  MCC is based on the principle that aid is most effective when it reinforces good governance, economic freedom and investments in people. This Forum on Global Development will bring together people from varying backgrounds to discuss their perspectives on these important global issues.  As part of the Forum, we will also be honoring three innovators for their demonstrated commitment to creative approaches to helping the world's poor.
