The New Black Friday Returns to QVC

WEST CHESTER, Pa., Nov. 17, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- This Thanksgiving, shoppers will have an extra reason to be thankful – the return of QVC's New Black Friday. This 28-hour event will allow customers to enjoy amazing deals without enduring the craziness associated with traditional Black Friday shopping. The savings kick off not long after the turkey is packed away, enticing customers to get a head start on holiday shopping on Thursday, November 25 (Thanksgiving evening), at 8 PM (ET) and continuing until Friday, November 26 at 11:59 PM (ET).

The broadcast will kick off on Thursday, November 25 at 8 PM (ET) with the unveiling of the Black Friday Today's Special Value® (an item offered at an exceptionally low price – good for that given day, until 11:59 PM (ET), unless it sells out sooner) and other must-have gifts. Programming will continue with Black Friday prices on select, new gifts and While Supplies Last prices on limited-quantity, in-demand items.

The savings continue at QVC.com, with additional, specially priced products and featured online countdown offers in every hour. Shoppers will also have the opportunity to preview the weekend's Today's Special Value offers.

The New Black Friday is the highlight of QVC's The Joy of Giving Week, which features eight days of great gifts and Event Prices on select gifts each day.
