The UrbanShade™ System this week received the CE Pro BEST (Best Electronic Systems Technologies) Award at the CEDIA Expo 2010. Winners were chosen by a panel of industry experts and the editors of CE Pro and Electronic House magazines. Judging criteria included creativity, innovation, incorporated equipment, obstacles overcome, aesthetics, and lifestyle benefits. MechoShade Home Systems' win is all the more significant this year because, according to CEDIA, "the quality of entrants was exceptional and the voting was tight."

Earlier this year, UrbanShade™ was recognized by the design community at the 2010 Best of NeoCon® product competition, in which it was awarded the Gold citation in the Window Treatments category.

UrbanShade™'s innovative design puts it far beyond the capabilities of most standard shades in the market. The interchangeable left- and right-drive bracket design of the system makes it easy for installers to reconfigure for wall, ceiling, or jamb-mount applications – reducing errors, streamlining installation, and saving time and money.
