The North 6th Agency Promotes Bill McCue to Vice President

NEW YORK, Feb. 24, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The North 6th Agency, Inc. (N6A) today announced the promotion of Bill McCue to Vice President. Prior to his promotion, McCue served as Account Director. In his new role, McCue will be responsible for all aspects of the agency's daily operations and play a major role in driving new business development. He will also continue to provide senior level oversight of the design and execution of media relations programs and strategies across the agency, and serve as the primary client contact for select accounts.

McCue is a communications specialist with nearly 20 years of agency, corporate and consulting experience. Most recently, he ran his own consulting business "McCuenications," providing on-site and virtual office support to a number of small to mid-sized public relations agencies in the New York metropolitan area, including Ridge Marketing and Shea Communications.

Prior to starting his own business, McCue served as a Senior Account Supervisor at Dukas Public Relations in New York City where he was responsible for the oversight of public relations programs for technology and financial services clients. McCue has also served as a Client Services Director at The Bailiwick Company, providing media relations, marketing communications and daily client support for technology clients, including AT&T and Avaya.

In addition to his media relations background, McCue also has a proven track record in employee communications. He served as manager of the employee communications program at Bell Atlantic Mobile (now Verizon Wireless) for six years and was the editor-in-chief of all internal publications. He was also a ghostwriter for all C-Level internal communications.

McCue holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the State University of New York-Albany.
