The Nubian Party, a Grassroots African-American Movement That Crosses Party Lines, Amasses 10,000 Supporters in 2-Weeks
BOSTON, Sept. 1, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- The Nubian Party, a grassroots African-American organization that is working beyond the confines of Republican or Democrat to bring lasting and much-needed change to America, this week announced their community already has 10,000 supporters.
Launching just a few weeks ago with a 5-point plan that is designed to enhance and augment the protection and opportunity available in black Americans today, the Nubian Party has already found favor in conservatives willing to adopt and embrace the carefully constructed plan.
"We differ from Black Lives Matter in that we are a collection of grassroots voices, untainted by liberal organizations or corporate money," said Sadiki Abdalla, Founder of the Nubian Party. "We believe that in order to create lasting change, we need to focus on the well-being of the black man, woman, or child in America. To do this, we are focused on one thing: legislation in Congress."
The Nubian Party stresses that in order for sustainable change to be witnessed in the black community, African-Americans need to support any political party that is willing to work with them. Without any compromise, this will ensure lasting changes are possible beyond the restrictions of voter registration.
As such, the Nubian Party has put forth their 5-point plan, which includes the following: Banking, parent's school's choice, Immigration, Infrastructure, and HBCU (Historically Black Colleges and Universities), all of which affect the African American community.
"Our plan is designed to cover the most important elements of everyday life and upward mobility for black Americans today," said Abdalla. "We are encouraging everyone to spread the word. It's time to make some positive change."
The Nubian Party is circulating a petition online that has already garnered thousands of signatures. With millions of African American votes up for grabs this election cycle, it's critical that the black community come together united for the Black Agenda.
