The Orangutan Project Selects Orange Orchard as U.S. Agency of Record

PERTH, Australia, Jan. 9, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- The Orangutan Project, a nonprofit acclaimed for its work protecting the Critically Endangered species from extinction, has selected Orange Orchard, a public relations agency specializing in environmentally conscious brands, to promote awareness of the organization in the United States.

Founded by world-renowned orangutan expert Leif Cocks in 1998, the organization raises funds to:

• Lease and protect land concessions for orangutan forest habitats in Borneo and Sumatra and patrol that land to prevent illegal logging and poaching.
• Rescue, rehabilitate and release infant and displaced orangutans.
• Educate and empower local villagers and indigenous people by teaching them the value of conservation and eco-friendly farming methods.
