DESTIN, FL, Feb. 14 /PRNewswire/ - Maximilian J. Riedel is scheduled to lead a unique wine seminar at The Palms of Destin Resort and Conference Center on February 28.
Riedel is an 11th generation glassmaker and the CEO of Riedel Crystal of America. He is the designer of the globally successful "O" Line and two of the best selling decanter designs. His visit to Florida's Emerald Coast is part of a series of events for the Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation (DCWAF) and will benefit local children's charities.
"Riedel is the Rolls Royce of stemware and to have Maximilian Riedel participate is a rare experience. This is the first time a member of the Riedel family has visited northwest Florida and hosted a seminar," DCWAF Executive Director Todd Vucovich said.
Riedel will demonstrate the relationship between the shape of a glass and its impact on the consumer's wine experience. The seminar will feature wines from Husic Vineyards, Domaine Serene, Jarvis Winery, Justin Vineyards & Winery & Trimbach.
The seminar will run from 5:30- 7:30 p.m., is $100 per person and includes a four piece Vinum XL Tasting Set. Additional tasting sets and the wines featured at the seminar may be purchased for special rates at the event through Chan's Wine World. Tickets may be purchased by calling 850-650-3732.
