The Relaunch of a Dallas-Based Nonprofit Leads "Safe Conversations" Movement
Relationships First is Positioned as the Pioneer in Establishing a Life-Changing Revolution
DALLAS, Nov. 18, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- On the heels of the most controversial presidential election in history, Dallas has emerged as the epicenter of a movement where "Safe Conversations" are being held in every corner of the city. Relationships First today announced its relaunch of its 501©(3) nonprofit organization offering the Safe Conversations relational technology to help people connect with one another and in doing so create better relationships, better lives and an overall better world.
Harville Hendrix, Ph.D. and Helen LaKelly Hunt, Ph.D. are the two visionaries behind this movement. They have authored three New York Times Best Sellers, and Dr. Hendrix has appeared 17 times on Oprah as a special guest contributor. This dynamic husband-and-wife team assert that people must be taught conversational skills that help them connect beyond their differences and put relationships first.

The concept of Safe Conversations was originally conceptualized in July of 2010 when Dr. Hendrix and Dr. Hunt invited six therapists and their spouses and other experts for a weekend discussion about how they could translate their therapy systems and processes into educational curricula that could be distributed to the public. From this initial discussion, Safe Conversations was established and incubated underneath the Dallas Foundation 501©(3) nonprofit in 2013.
