The Silverfern Group Expands Merchant Banking Team - Kurtis Fechtmeyer Joins as Managing Director

SAN FRANCISCO, May 11 /PRNewswire/ -- The Silverfern Group, Inc. announced today that it has continued the expansion of its senior merchant banking team with the addition of Kurtis Fechtmeyer to co-lead Silverfern's Technology Merchant Banking Group.

Kurtis brings over 15 years of mergers, acquisitions, restructuring and financing experience to the Silverfern team. He has provided advisory services to domestic and international clients in the technology, media and telecom sectors. Over his career, Kurtis has advised market-leading companies in next-generation networking, interactive marketing and media, information security and mobile software and services, and has worked closely with key investors in those sectors.

Prior to joining Silverfern, Kurtis was a Managing Director in the Technology Group at FBR Capital Markets, which had acquired East Peak Advisors, where he was a Managing Director and principal co-owner. Kurtis began his investment banking career in the nationally recognized network technology group at Wessels, Arnold and Henderson (and eventually RBC Capital Markets) in Menlo Park and Minneapolis.  

Based in San Francisco, Kurtis co-leads Silverfern's Technology merchant banking business, focusing on technology, new media and communications opportunities.
