The Songs of Love Foundation Announces a One Million Dollar Four-Year Challenge Grant from the Leon and Toby Cooperman Family Foundation
FOREST HILLS, N.Y., July 18, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The Songs of Love Foundation announces a One Million Dollar Four-Year Challenge Grant from The Leon and Toby Cooperman Family Foundation. Songs of Love is beyond grateful for this incredible opportunity to double the impact of its donations, which will now be matched up to $250,000 each year for four years. This challenge grant has infused new life into the organization, encouraging supporters and creating the potential to write songs for an additional 4,000 children in the coming years. The Songs of Love is encouraging its supporters to join in on this unprecedented challenge grant campaign.
Mr. Cooperman is the founder of Omega Advisors, and the Songs of Love family was ecstatic to visit his office for the check presentation. The event included many of the biggest supporters of Songs of Love, including Bob McGrath of Sesame Street and two 'songs of love' recipients, Danielle Dugan and Victoria Sidorski, who discovered they were hospital roommates 14 years ago!! Both of them are doing great today and still hold their Songs of Love dearly!
