Briggs brings a wealth of experience in leading values-driven consumer brands across various sectors, including craft brewing, hospitality, and multi-unit food retail, along with governance roles in construction and technology. Notably, she spent 12 years on the executive team at New Belgium Brewing, served as CEO at Modern Times Brewing, and CXO for Karl Strauss Brewing. Her extensive leadership background is complemented by her active role in the employee ownership community, where she serves as Board Chair of the National Center for Employee Ownership and an Executive Fellow at Rutgers University's Institute for the Study of Employee Ownership and Profit Sharing. She holds an M.S. in Organizational Leadership and was recognized as Brewbound's Person of the Year in 2022. She was recently featured in Fabulous California, Fabulous People, and Brewer Magazine.
