CHICAGO, Oct. 27, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The Technology Business Management (TBM) Council, a non-profit organization dedicated to developing and promoting best practices for managing IT like a business, today announced that it has appointed Mike Brown, Vice President, Global Information Technology at ExxonMobil, as its chairman of the board. The nonprofit organization also added three industry leaders to its board, including Mike Brady, CTO of AIG, John Bruno, EVP of Enterprise Innovation & CIO of Aon and Guillermo Diaz Jr., SVP & CIO of Cisco.

In addition to the TBM Council's existing roster of board members, the organization welcomes the following new leaders to its ranks.
Mike Brady, CTO of AIG
Appointed as CTO in April 2015, Brady is AIG's first Chief Technology Officer and is responsible for the Infrastructure, Applications Development methodology, and Architecture functions of the technology organization. In this role, Brady leads AIG's technology strategy, ensuring that it is fully capable of serving the company's clients and employees by developing the technical infrastructure vision, leading its development, and being responsible for identifying appropriate leading edge technologies that result in tangible benefits to all of AIG's stakeholders. Although Brady was recently appointed to his position at AIG, he has a long-standing track record of success with TBM in his previous role at Kaiser Permanente, where he transformed the infrastructure technology organization.
John Bruno, EVP of Enterprise Innovation & CIO of Aon
Appointed as CIO of Aon in September 2014, Bruno is responsible for delivering industry-leading technology across Aon's Risk Solutions and HR Solutions businesses to support the firm's strategy to create valuable insight through data and analytics that empowers results for clients. In this role, Bruno oversees over 8,000 professionals globally, driving world-class service delivery, productivity, collaboration and business model innovation across the firm. With his senior leadership involvement at other Fortune 500 companies such as Goldman Sachs, Merrill Lynch and Cisco Systems, Bruno will bring a broad range of business experience to the TBM Council.
Guillermo Diaz Jr., SVP & CIO of Cisco
Appointed as SVP & CIO of Cisco in September 2015, Diaz is responsible for transforming the overall IT experience by strengthening foundational business capabilities, enabling new business models, and accelerating innovative business outcomes for Cisco customers, partners and employees. Since joining the company in 2000, Diaz has been a major driver in transforming Cisco's world-class IT organization by leading initiatives to build and manage significant business foundations including IT infrastructure, network and management systems, and enterprise resource planning, along with Cisco's internet and intranet network functions.
