The Tricycle Foundation Selects ARGI Acuity
ARGI's new Audience Management System continues to add customers
MONTVALE, N.J., May 21 /PRNewswire/ -- ARGI announced today that The Tricycle Foundation of New York, NY. (www.tricycle.com) has selected its Acuity product for the audience management of its quarterly magazine, Tricycle: The Buddhist Review, and The Tricycle Community, a global vertical social network.
Acuity was launched last September and ushers in an entirely new set of capabilities for audience development professionals. In development for over 2 years, Acuity was built to the specifications of today's publishing and media companies. It is not an enhancement of a print-oriented system, rather it was developed from the ground up to be media-agnostic and user-centric. Much broader than traditional subscription fulfillment, Acuity offers everything that is needed to manage audiences across print and online channels whether content is in print or digital form. It is an Audience Management platform that enriches the publishers' relationships with their audience regardless of media type. Acuity provides the power to link content to audiences, quickly and efficiently in an easy to use, Software as a Service (SaaS) configuration.
About its selection of the ARGI Acuity platform, Tricycle Editor & Publisher James Shaheen said: "Tricycle's vision and audience have always been global, but the audience management tools and technologies typically available to print publishers have held us back from achieving our full potential. With the advent of ARGI Acuity, we at last have the opportunity to realize the vision of Tricycle's founders to advance authentic, universal Buddhist values within our globally networked, interdependent society."
Richard Landry, CEO of richmedium, a social innovation strategy firm that managed the vendor selection process, commented: "Tricycle's situation epitomizes the challenge facing special-interest publishers across the entire spectrum: How to effect a transition to the new digital media space that preserves their sunk investment in their traditional products and audiences, but is not held back in any way by the logistical demands of continuing to support them. Most existing solutions force a choice between preserving a print-centric model, at the risk of missing out on emerging digital opportunities; or embracing a contemporary audience management approach, at the risk of losing some or all of the value accrued from one's traditional product line. With ARGI Acuity, publishers need not face such a difficult dilemma."
ARGI CEO, Ray Butkus said: "ARGI has a long history of serving religious organizations and non-profit foundations. We understand their unique requirements are very pleased with the Tricycle Foundation's decision. The vendor selection process managed by richmedium was rigorous, disciplined and comprehensive. The selection of Acuity gives Tricycle sophisticated capabilities to manage and grow their audience."
Tricycle's conversion to Acuity will begin immediately.
