MIAMI, Jan. 12, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The Veratis Insurance Group, a subsidiary of The Veratis Group, is pleased to announce that it has entered into a Marketing Agreement to make Mercury Select Management Company, Inc.'s Automobile Mechanical Breakdown Protection plans available both through financial institutions and The Venturion Group, its direct marketing affiliate. The Veratis Group and its subsidiaries provide forward-thinking marketing, product development, sales and administration for a wide range of services that provide consumers extraordinary opportunities to improve their lives through access to quality of life services and that create incremental revenue and enhanced loyalty for sponsors.

Similar to manufacturers' extended warranties, Mechanical Breakdown Protection plans cover the cost to repair a vehicle when it breaks down. Mercury offers a variety of plans from which to choose, including a Platinum Plan, which is the most comprehensive coverage available. The Venturion Group will initially market the Mercury Mechanical Breakdown program to an existing customer base of several hundred thousand.
