The Village of Baytowne Wharf adds treats and convenience; Welcomes Moo La-La and Subway to culinary options

DESTIN, FL, July 31, 2013 /PRNewswire/ - The Village of Baytowne Wharf today announced the addition of two new businesses at the popular shop, dine and play destination on Florida's Emerald Coast.

The Village is the first location for Moo La-La Ice Cream & Desserts.  Located just next to the Adventure Landing playground, the owners spared no expense in the creative, fun atmosphere.   Inspired by the New Orleans Warehouse District, old brick line the interior walls, ceramic tile designed to mimic old wood floors, and reclaimed wood from old cotton mills are just a few of the materials used to lend an atmosphere that is warm and nostalgic.  "It really is an environment that you will want to come back to time and time again" said Todd Whitney, owner and operator of Moo La-La.

Moo La-La proudly serves Blue Bell Ice Cream, specialty sundaes, shakes and malts.  "After sampling a number of brands, we decided to partner with Blue Bell, they are a beloved Southern brand and they offer a variety of rich and creamy flavors" said Whitney.

In addition to Moo La- La, The Village of Baytowne Wharf also welcomes Subway, scheduled to open this fall.  "We are thrilled to be a part of the Baytowne family of merchants and look forward to operating in Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort" said James Conlee, Subway general manager.
