The Volatility Exchange and The Options Insider Launch Weekly Radio Program on Volatility

CHICAGO, April 6, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The Volatility Exchange (VolX^®) and The Options Insider have teamed up to offer a new weekly radio program focused on the rapidly growing interest in trading volatility.  Called "Volatility Views," the program is co-hosted by Options Insider founder Mark Longo and Donald Schlesinger, Chief Strategy Officer of VolX.  

The program recently premiered with the episode, "Can Delta Neutral Capture Price Volatility?" with guest Dan Passarelli from Market Taker Mentoring.  Longo said that each episode will feature a Volatility Week in Review as well as tips to help traders manage and avoid pitfalls in volatility trading.  There were also two "preview" episodes before the premiere show.

For many years, Schlesinger served as Executive Director and Director of Derivatives Education and Training in Morgan Stanley Dean Witter's Worldwide Equity Derivatives department.  He was responsible for in-house training as well as educational seminars for clients, and he helped establish and hone risk management techniques and systems for global equity derivatives traders at the firm.  Previously he was a proprietary trader and options strategist at Morgan Stanley, where he managed the firm's domestic over-the-counter options book and priced structured products for clients.  He has lectured extensively throughout the world and published a wide range of articles on options theory, volatility, and hedging techniques.

Longo is a highly respected options trader and former member of the Chicago Board Options Exchange.
