For the past 10 years, The Waldorf Co. has operated as division of Bayard Advertising Agency, which is one of the largest full-service recruitment advertising and employment branding advertising agency in the United States.
"In my capacity at Bayard, I kept receiving a reoccurring question from my clients," said Waldorf. "And that question was: Do you do promotional items?"
To fill her clients' request for branded promotional products, Ms. Waldorf utilized the services of outside agencies. This part of her business grew so rapidly, however, she required a dedicated division to keep pace; establishing Bayard Promotions was simply a natural progression of her businesses' organic growth.
Ms. Waldorf's long-time staff of brand experts, graphic designers and account strategists segued with her from employee communications to full-time, full-service promotional products marketing.
