The "Wikipendium of Cooking Knowledge" Uses Hyperlinks to Place Cooking Knowledge at Readers' Fingertips

The website bills itself as The Wikipendium of Cooking Knowledge and defines wikipendium as, "A compendium of knowledge on a single subject whose content comes, primarily, from one or more authoritative sources, augmented by suggestions from users." The authoritative source in this case is a revised edition of The Essential Cook, by Charles Delmar, winner of the prestigious Writings award given by the IACP (International Assn. of Culinary Professionals). The website itself was a finalist for a 2013 IACP Digital Media award.

Being a Wikipendium, MyCookingCoach.com invites users to submit suggestions for corrections or new information to its large and growing body of cooking knowledge. Publication of those changes will be subject to approval by users of the website and monitored by its publisher, Charles Delmar.
