The World Champion San Francisco Giants and United Airlines Announce New Agreement
AIRLINE WILL FLY THE TEAM AND HAVE A KEY PRESENCE AT AT&T PARK
CHICAGO, April 14, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The World Series Champion San Francisco Giants and United Airlines (NYSE: UAL) announced today they signed a Letter of Agreement through which United will operate the team's charter flights for all transportation to road games and will have a significant presence at AT&T Park.
As part of the marketing agreement, United will have new branding on key signage within the ballpark. The Giants will also collaborate with United on customer and fan promotions, and will feature the airline on the team's schedule page at www.sfgiants.com.

With more than 250 daily departures from San Francisco International Airport, more than any other airline, United and United Express connect the Bay Area with points throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, Europe, Asia and Australia. United also serves Oakland and San Jose. United, a major Bay Area employer, operates an extensive maintenance, repair and overhaul facility at San Francisco International Airport.
The Letter of Agreement provides the framework for a definitive agreement between the San Francisco Giants and United Airlines.
