The World's Largest Urban Adventure Series is Bringing Eight Teams From Across the Country to Orlando, the 'Beautiful City'... to Get Dirty.
Regional City Chase winners from Denver, San Diego, Seattle, Philadelphia, Chicago, Dallas, New York and Austin compete in Orlando, October 21-23 for the City Chase National Championship.
CHICAGO, Oct. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- The eight winning U.S. teams from City Chase, The World's Largest Urban Adventure Series, proved this summer they could battle like true reality TV stars in Regional one-day competitions across the country. They will compete in a 36-hour, comfort-zone pushing competition as the third annual U.S. National Championship heads to Orlando, Florida.
"We are so pleased that our eight teams will push themselves physically, mentally and emotionally as they battle it out in Orlando," said Jason Erkes, President of City Chase. "Orlando offers a unique urban canvas and teams are going to find themselves working a lot harder and using technology for the title of Team USA before they drive home in the brand new Mitsubishis."
The part obstacle course, part scavenger hunt adventure will start in downtown Orlando and contain even more perilous feats than in previous regional competitions. These "ChasePoints" are a variety of physical, intellectual and humorous challenges and can include everything from rappelling off local architecture to playing with reptiles to ordering from a not-so-typical dinner menu. ChasePoints are scattered in unknown locations throughout the city and promise to give competitors two days of laughter, adventure and discovery.
To prevail, "Chasers" need to use teamwork, resourcefulness, determination and the ability to make decisions on the fly as they run, walk and use public transit to navigate their way throughout Orlando.
