TheTeaParty.net Presidential Twitter Debate in Concord, NH to See Record Number of Online Registrants
WASHINGTON, July 20, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- TheTeaParty.net's Presidential Twitter Debate scheduled for 3-4:30 p.m. ET today has received an overwhelming number of online registrations and requests for information on how to participate. This debate will be attended by Tea Party activists around the country online, and by activists traveling from all over New England to the Grappone Conference Center in Concord, NH to participate in the first debate utilizing the groundbreaking Twitter debate platform.
"We have been working overtime to ensure that we can now accommodate 15,000 more people than we usually have participate in our regular tele-townhalls. The debate will be hosted by nationally syndicated Talk Radio Network host Rusty Humphries. Humphries will be accompanied by bestselling author, political pundit and Glenn Beck TV host Ms. S.E. Cupp, who will help moderate the debate. Republican presidential candidates confirmed to date include Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN), Herman Cain, former Speaker Newt Gingrich (R-GA), former Gov. Gary Johnson (R-NM), Rep. Thaddeus McCotter (R-MI) and former Sen. Rick Santorum (R-PA).
