Third Annual Buffer Festival attracts most acclaimed international YouTube creators to Toronto

TORONTO, September 23, 2015 /PRNewswire/ - Buffer Festival, powered by LG, the premiere international film festival for the world's most acclaimed YouTube creators, returns to Toronto from October 23rd to 25th. Created by Canadian talent Corey Vidal and produced by ApprenticeA Productions, the festival draws some of the most popular and accomplished YouTubers, their loyal followers and industry influencers to the city.

In its third year, Buffer Festival has established itself as a global stage on which content creators have the opportunity to promote their current projects and announce new ones.  It allows them to enjoy an engaging and interactive platform where they can sit among their audience and share in moments of discovery. This year, screenings will be themed across 12 different categories, including: Music, Short Films, Comedy, LGBT+, Science and Education, Gaming and Animation, and more.

Festival highlights – what's new this year
This year, in partnership with Ryerson University's Transmedia Zone and CBC, Buffer Festival will be introducing Creator Day, a full day of educational workshops presented by YouTube celebrities, industry professionals and technical teachers. Up-and-coming creators will have the opportunity to learn from the experts to help develop their skills in all aspects of video production and become the next generation of Canadian YouTube stars.
