Thousands Celebrate International Yoga Day With Naam Yoga in Mexico City
100,000 expected for next Naam Yoga Superclass on November 29, 2015
LOS ANGELES, June 25, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Naam Yoga celebrated the first International Day of Yoga, June 21st, 2015 with around 5000 people, according to the Reforma, attending a massive Naam Yoga class in Mexico City at the Angel of Independence Monument, the same location where over 21,000 people came together on January 26, 2014 for a Naam Yoga Superclass, the largest yoga class of its kind in the world led by founder and international spiritual leader, Dr. Joseph Michael Levry. The Ambassador of India to Mexico, H.E. Mr. Sujan R. Chinoy, attended the event acknowledging the importance of this first International Day of Yoga, as declared by the United Nations.
The next Naam Yoga Superclass will take place in Mexico City on November 29, 2015 with the vision to unite 100,000 people worldwide for peace.

The Government of Mexico City Distrito Federal was so impressed by the "positive result of the people who attended" in 2014, that they have now instituted weekly yoga classes, every Sunday at the same location which are growing each month in preparation for the next Naam Yoga Superclass in November.
