Thousands To Descend Upon Orlando For First Ever Halloween Extreme/May-Hem, May 24-26

ORLANDO, Fla., May 20, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The haunted attraction industry's largest tradeshow producer, TransWorld Exhibits, the world famous Netherworld Haunted House and Spooky Empire Productions, known by fans for masterminding some of the craziest horror happenings in the country, today announced they have teamed up to create Halloween Extreme/May-Hem. The ultimate Halloween convention will take place May 24-26 at the Rosen Centre in Orlando, Fla.

Halloween Extreme/May-Hem was born as "an Explosion of Halloween and Horror."  Designed to introduce the best products of the Haunted House industry to attendees, and to create a place where horror fans and Halloween fanatics can mingle, attend classes, dress up like zombies, meet celebrities and celebrate a true "Halloween in May."

The Halloween Extreme side of the event features a wide selection of intense Haunted Attraction props and special effects never before available to the general public.  Some more highlights include: makeup, design and prop fabrication classes, Make and Takes (Where guests learn hands-on how to build props and effects),special presentations from Universal Studios HALLOWEEN HORROR NIGHTS and Busch Gardens HOWL-O-SCREAM, Weird Exhibits, Halloween contests, a Zombie Prom, and celebrity appearances from cast members of the Travel Channel's Making Monsters, SyFy's Face Off and Amy Nicolleto from L.A. Ink. For the little monsters there will even be Trick or Treating on the show floor and an inflatable kid's haunted house just scary and fun enough to create great Halloween memories.

On the May-Hem side, expect a huge horror extravaganza featuring many celebrities from AMC's The Walking Dead, Zakk Wylde, former lead guitarist for Ozzy Osborne, a book signing with Dennis Rodman from the Chicago Bulls, Bai Ling, Zach Galligan, Betsy Russell, and a reunion of the cast of The Warriors  just to name a few!  There will be a Zombie Walk, a Tattoo Festival where you can get a horror tattoo right on the show floor from well known ink masters, bands and live performances, a Celebrity Poker Tournament, movie screenings, huge parties by the pool and a dealers room chock full of all the horror memorabilia you could ever want!
