
Three Israeli Security Experts to Explain Support for Iran Nuclear Agreement

WASHINGTON, Sept. 8, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Three leading Israeli security experts will brief the media Tuesday morning on why the Iran nuclear agreement serves Israel's long-term interests, following back-to-back speeches for and against the deal by Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid and former Vice President Dick Cheney.
The news conference with Knesset member Omer Bar-Lev of the Zionist Bloc, Major General (Ret.) Amiram Levin, and Ambassador Alon Pinkas will take place on September 8, at 11:30 am at the Mayflower Hotel (1127 Connecticut Ave NW) in the Palm Court Ballroom, a few blocks from where the earlier speeches will take place.

The three Israelis are coming to Washington to meet members of Congress ahead of expected votes in both chambers later next week.
MK Bar-Lev was an IDF special forces commander who took part in the famed Entebbe raid of 1978. He was elected to parliament on the Labor Party slate in 2013.
General Levin is the former deputy director of Mossad and commanded the IDF's Northern Command.
Ambassador Pinkas served as Israel's Consul General in New York from 2000-2004, and was Chief of Staff to two foreign ministers and a special advisor to former Prime Minister Ehud Barak.
