Three New Nuclear Stocks Added; Two Stocks Deleted from WNA Nuclear Energy Index in Quarterly Rebalancing

NEW YORK, March 11 /PRNewswire/ -- The WNA Nuclear Energy Index(SM) (TICKER: WNAI) will add three new constituents, effective 6:00 PM (EDT) Sunday, March 21, 2010. Two stocks will be deleted from the index, changing the number of index components to 65. The changes result from the quarterly rebalancing of the index.

The additions to WNAI are:

Korea Power Engineering Company, Inc (TICKER: 052690 KS)
Lightbridge Corporation (TICKER: LTBR US)
Korea Electric Power Corporation (TICKER: 015760 KS)

The deletions to WNAI are:

UEX Corporation (TICKER: UEX CN)
Sperian Protection (TICKER: SPR FP)

The WNA Nuclear Energy Index(SM) is a capitalization-weighted, float-adjusted index of the most prominent nuclear energy stocks in the world. To be included in the WNAI index, stocks must pass multiple screens, including for capitalization, float, exchange listing, share price and turnover.

The Index Committee today announced two changes to the index rulebook. The first change relating to "Special Dividends" is as follows: Any 'explicitly labeled' Special Dividend or any dividend larger than 10% of the equity price is considered a special dividend and requires a price and share adjustment to the company that issued the special dividend. The adjustment will be a market neutral event and will have no effect on the divisor.

The second change relating to the "Index Committee" is as follows: "The Index Committee may from time to time at its discretion may decide to add companies that do not meet all of the eligibility criteria but whose business may have a material impact on the overall development of the industry."
