Three San Antonio Women Business Leaders Named Inspiring Texas Women

SAN ANTONIO, Dec. 2, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Three San Antonio-area women business leaders have been named recipients of the Inspiring Texas Women award from the Women's Business Initiative of Sterling Bank.

These deserving women and 16 additional nominees were honored at a San Antonio luncheon on Wednesday.  Acock was nominated for inspiring women to overcome barriers and become leaders in their own right.  Adams was cited for her leadership as a mental wellness professional.  Ettling received the award for her dedication to promoting leadership and learning of women locally and globally.

The Inspiring Texas Women award celebrates the 10th anniversary of Sterling's Women's Business Initiative, which provides resources specifically designed for women-owned business owners and female executives to create added value to their relationships with Sterling Bank. The three San Antonio awardees are among the 10 women who have received the award. Four Houston women received awards in late October, and three Dallas award winners were named last week in Dallas.
