The website allows you to upload your favourite nuggets on ways to save money, whilst benefitting from tips shared by other site visitors.

From savvy shopping advice on how to get the most out of your weekly grocery shop, to getting the best discounts on family holidays and securing top cashback deals, canny consumers all over the UK will be encouraged to visit goodvalueformoney.com to share the benefit of their experiences and engage with others at the same time.

The site will also house advice from some of the country's top bloggers with articles on getting the best deals, as well as exclusive competitions and offers negotiated by the goodvalueformoney.com team from the world of fashion, beauty, interiors, holidays, plus a whole host of other lifestyle-themed goodies.

Those sharing their pearls of wisdom on a regular basis will be rewarded with points, allowing them to earn spot gifts as a thank you for their valuable contributions.

• Helen Pickard

A keen runner and long-distance walker, Helen loves setting herself personal goals and within the last year has lost 40lbs in weight and qualified as a Weight Watchers leader. She is 40, lives in Ilkley, West Yorkshire with husband Neil and her two children Mark (16) and Emma (11).  

Helen has worked in legal environments since leaving school until this summer when she handed in her notice to start up her dream venture goodvalueformoney.com.

• Samantha Holden

Samantha is 45, and also lives in Ilkley, West Yorkshire. She is divorced and has two children, Joe (14) and Sophie (11). Golf, skiing and tennis are her passions.

After graduating with a law degree from Leicester, Samantha has held sales and marketing roles with major blue international brands as well as smaller Yorkshire-based businesses. Samantha is also working full time on developing goodvalueformoney.com.
