Tianwei SolarFilms and Sunvalley Solar Sign Strategic Partnership MOU

WALNUT, Calif., Feb. 8, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Sunvalley Solar, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: SSOL), a leading provider of solar power technology and solar system integration, announced that a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between Sunvalley Solar, Inc. and Tianwei SolarFilms to establish a strategic partnership in the United States.

Lan Tao, vice president, and Mickey Liu, Director of Sales and Marketing of Tianwei SolarFilms, visited Sunvalley Solar Inc, and some of their clients in the Palm Desert area. During the visit both companies signed a MOU to further enhance their already existing partnership. In addition, they collaborated in mapping out future plans for the short and long-term, including a nationally  (U.S.) manufactured solar package solution and a Green House plan for farmers.

Both Sunvalley and Tianwei SolarFilms recognize their common interest in providing solar power system projects with thin film technology, solar installation packages, greenhouse design and integration, solar system technical support and service, as well both companies sharing a desire to manufacture solar equipment in the United States. Both organizations seek a collaboration in order to maximize their individual market share and reduce manufacturing and marketing costs.

Objectives of this strategic partnership include:

• Increasing opportunities for each partner to expand their business in solar power system design, installation, procurement of equipment, technical services and others.
• Extending opportunities for each partner to contribute their experience and technologies to the development and implementation of solar power systems and equipments, including commercialization of patented technology.
• Working in partnership in areas of mutual interest, such as manufacturing and distributing advanced solar power systems design, pre-engineered solar installation products, solar system package solution, greenhouse, etc. with labeled names of both sides.
• Develop mutual interests in longer-term planning and strategic thinking in solar power field, including joint venture, merging, acquisition, local manufacturing or logistic management, etc;

Tianwei SolarFilms awarded Sunvalley Solar its 2010 Premium Partnership award as its thin film solar power system distributor within the U.S. marketplace. Tianwei SolarFilms will continue to provide Sunvalley with complete thin film package solutions as well as technical and marketing support. In addition, as Tianwei SolarFilms' Premium Partner in the U.S. market, Sunvalley will develop thin film solar system projects by using Tianwei's thin film package solutions and assist them in providing pre- and post-sale services to end customers.

Tianwei SolarFilms and Sunvalley would like to further cooperate in developing Greenhouse projects for the U.S. market. Tianwei SolarFilms will be the provider of semi-transparent panels and solutions for these Greenhouse projects and Sunvalley Solar will assist with doing the Greenhouse project market surveys, project development and implementation.

The long-term cooperation between Tianwei SolarFilms and Sunvalley is open to discussion by both parties to further develop the partnership based upon mutual interests.
