Ticket Prices Go Up January 27 for SearchFest, the Top One-Day Search & Social Conference in the Northwest
Facebook keynotes the full day digital marketing conference on February 24, 2012, in Portland
PORTLAND, Ore., Jan. 24, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The worlds of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and social media are constantly evolving — making the industry unique in that continuous education is imperative to performance. SearchFest puts attendees on the cutting edge of this education, featuring headliners from top brands such as Facebook and comScore. The digital marketing conference in Portland will offer attendees rare insight on Friday, February 24, 2012, at the Governor Hotel.
SearchFest, the signature event of SEMpdx, offers a lineup of speakers that any conference would envy. Moreover, it is organized by a nonprofit business organization allowing tickets to be one-third of the cost of other conferences featuring the same caliber of speakers. Ticket prices will increase $50 on January 27, 2012.
"Our mission is to create the best search and social conference in the country," said Hallie Janssen, President of SEMpdx. "According to industry insiders, SearchFest has become the model and envy of many large search marketing organizations."
Always on the cutting edge, top industry trends will be covered at SearchFest, including: Google+, local search, mobile marketing, social targeting and advertising (with Facebook having emerged as the biggest online advertiser).
"One of today's most important issues in the world of digital media is the intersection of 'search and social.' Businesses have the opportunity to leverage their social media presence to drive up SEO rankings and deliver better ROI on their digital investments," said comScore Media Evangelist, Eli Goodman. "Another significant trend is the rapid adoption of mobile devices, such as smartphones and tablets, and what that means for marketing campaigns. Businesses must get smarter in understanding the different technologies and consumer usage patterns if they are going to optimize their efforts and marketing spend."
With industry leaders Facebook and comScore (a global leader in measuring the digital world) both keynoting, new insights will be gleaned. Even though SearchFest is only about one short month away, we don't even know what developments will be on the horizon for Facebook at that time. SearchFest organizers look forward to possibly hearing the news first at the full day conference from speaker, Brian Pipegrass, Internet Marketing Manager at Facebook. The morning keynote address by comScore Media Evangelist, Eli Goodman, has been sponsored by Acquisio.
