Ticketbud's custom work and consultation for Sony's GDC Mixer results in perfect brand experience

Needing custom design for the checking in of VIPs as well as a quick process for processing hundreds of developers in a short time, Sony chose Ticketbud's event registration and attendee management software due to the company's experience in crafting unique solutions for a variety of events. Sony also required custom branding work to celebrate the 20th anniversary of its PlayStation video game console.

In order to improve upon last year's check-in process, Sony utilized not only the Ticketbud software platform but took advantage of several custom services for maximum efficiency. With Ticketbud's conference registration software, Sony was able to quickly upload guest lists, communicate with registered attendees, and measure the responses all from one dashboard.

Custom Mobile App: Ticketbud implemented a modification of its Android mobile event application to optimize for Sony's specific usage needs. These modifications enabled Sony staff to receive notifications when VIPs checked in, allowing them to meet the guest at the entrance to the party. This was accomplished by messaging the necessary staff upon the check in of a VIP to the event.
Consultation: As part of the contract, Sony received one-on-one consultation with Ticketbud's engineering team to determine the best way to create a seamless check-in for all GDC attendees. Ticketbud also helped design a branded custom page and RSVP emails for the Sony GDC Mixer. This consultation not only helped make the check-in successful but also created a powerful brand experience for all of the Mixer guests.
Custom Reporting: Ticketbud handled the initial emails sent out to all attendees for RSVP using its event registration software. It also helped manage its RSVP lists and adjusted it to provide the smoothest experience possible for attendees. With this reporting software, event staff were able to monitor all check-ins and ticket scans in real time.
