TIG Advisors Celebrates One-Year Anniversary of TIG Securitized Asset Fund

NEW YORK, Oct. 9, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- TIG Advisors, LLC (TIG), a leading investment platform overseeing more than $1.4 billion in assets across multiple strategies, celebrated the first anniversary of its TIG Securitized Asset Fund (TSAF), an actively traded long/short credit fund specializing in securitized assets. Since its launch, TSAF has grown assets under management six-fold to $300 million and achieved net returns of over 20 percent, making the fund a leader among its peers and outperforming HFRI RV Fixed Income Asset Backed Index.

TSAF was founded by Stuart Lippman and David Liu, who together have more than three decades of experience investing in structured products. The fund has a relative value focus, seeking to profit from both market fundamentals and dislocations created by regulatory changes, policy issues and market technicals primarily in RMBS/CMBS/ABS securities.
