BOCA RATON, Fla., Nov. 29, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Tint World® Automotive Styling Centers™, a leading auto accessory and window tinting franchise, has opened a new location in Owings Mills, Maryland. Owned and operated by Stephen Leacock, the new store is the second Tint World® to open in Maryland and will provide residents with a variety of services, including vehicle customization, residential and commercial window film, and marine upgrades and styling.

The new Tint World(R) store, owned and operated by Baltimore native Stephen Leacock, is located in Owings Mills, Maryland.

Leacock has worked and owned a facilities support business since 2000, and is a self-proclaimed car fanatic.

"I love cars and I've always been interested in doing something similar to this," said Leacock. "I was also looking to position myself for the next phase of life. I had never been much on franchising, but after being initially impressed while doing my research, we setup a Tint World® Franchise Discovery Day in Florida and I had the opportunity to sit down and talk with Charles – that really sealed the deal for me. I was impressed with his background and success, and his vision for the future. He has really surrounded himself with all the right pieces. Leacock was introduced to Tint World® by Darryl Quillens, who is handling the automobile detailing and car washing at the new store.

"My best friend, Wayne Davis, had been talking with Darryl and knew how much interest he had in Tint World®, but it just never materialized. I actually met Darryl back in high school, and so we talked about opening a Tint World® and made it a reality."

Ron Sanders is also joining the Owing Mills Tint World® team as director of business development. He has more than 25 years of experience in the industry and will be responsible for drumming up business for the location.
