TORONTO, July 19, 2011 /PRNewswire/ - The Printz, the central character in a marketing campaign launched by The Printing House Ltd.™, is in Toronto today! "We appear to have misplaced The Printz. He loves the culture and the people of the city, and he's wandered off. We've got a few teams out there looking for him, so we are hoping that with those teams and the help of Torontonians, he'll be located and will have made new friends along the way." The multi-platform advertising campaign created for The Printz' visit includes movie poster teaser-style ads distributed around the city, printed in publications and combined with ads on television and radio. Several Viking-themed street teams will be roaming Toronto today as well to increase awareness.
The Printing House Ltd.™ is running a contest in conjunction with the appearance of The Printz in Toronto which will provide participants with multiple chances to win one of the 50 prizes available including the grand prize of a trip for two, in the spirit of The Printz' roots, to the Nordic destination of Iceland (or… anywhere else the winner wants to go for $2,500 with Flight Centre!).
