VISTA, Calif., June 16, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Eco Building Products, Inc., (PINK: ECOB) announced today that the Board of Directors of Eco Building Products, Inc. has elected Tom Comery President and CEO and Gerry Czarnecki as Chairman of the board of directors, effective immediately.
"Tom brings a wealth of experience to Eco through his 24+ years in engineering-oriented wood products distribution, manufacturing and sales operations" Gerry Czarnecki said. "He is recognized for leading transformational change as a sales and marketing strategist with a degree in accounting that drives rigor and discipline in execution," Czarnecki added. "Tom has extensive experience in the U.S., Canada, Europe, Australia, Korea, China and Taiwan markets, and he is passionate about building businesses, and defining and shaping their characters, cultures and brands." Tom spent 10 years with Georgia Pacific where as General Manager he started and grew their engineered lumber business unit into one of the largest in the Industry. As GP's Group Director of Specialty Products he had responsibility for over 20 building product categories totaling $1.7 billion in revenue. Later as President of Jager Building Systems, Tom spearheaded the Company's quick financial turnaround followed by the construction and introduction of a state of the art 4 million cubic foot LVL manufacturing facility. He has served in various executive leadership roles with SierraPine Ltd., Building Material Distributors and Leedo Manufacturing.

Comery holds a BA in Business Administration and Accounting from Otterbein University and he also completed graduate business studies at Aurora University. In addition, he was in the Management Executive program, "Accelerating Sales Force Performance," at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
