HUNTER MOUNTAIN, N.Y., Nov. 16, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The 13th Annual Mountain Jam Music Festival unveiled the first headliners for its 2017 lineup – Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers and the Steve Miller Band. Also on the bill are: Peter Frampton, Gary Clark Jr., Michael Franti & Spearhead, St. Paul & The Broken Bones, The Strumbellas, Shovels & Rope, The Revivalists, The Infamous Stringdusters, White Denim, Elephant Revival, Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real, and River Whyless. Additional artists to be announced early next year.

Tickets for Mountain Jam 2017 go on sale today, Wednesday, November 16^th starting at 10 a.m. (EST). General Admission and VIP tickets are available for the full weekend starting at $184 and $600 (plus taxes) respectively. Mountain Jam 2017 will take place June 16 – 18 at its longstanding home, in the heart of the Great Northern Catskills of Greene County. Hunter Mountain is the Northeast's premier natural amphitheater set amidst a majestic landscape. The venue offers premium camping and lodging options on-site along with modern conveniences including 24-hour access to indoor bathrooms, a large full service bar, and a plethora of food options.

Throughout the weekend activities are planned for music lovers of all ages. The Sky Ride, a six-passenger chairlift that carries guests to the 3,200 foot summit offering spectacular views of the Massachusetts' Berkshires and Vermont's Green Mountains, is also a Jammer fan favorite.
